1 Day Safari

We had a fabulous time on our safari experience with Johan! We did a day safari to Pilanesberg National Park from our hotel in Johannesburg. The ride to the park was long but comfortable in his Land Rover and Johan provided a lot of interesting history along the way. Once at the park we had our private safari drive, he has so much knowledge about the animals and answered all our questions. We saw elephants, zebras, hippos, giraffes and cheetahs to name a few and my kids were very excited! We also opted to have the open air safari drive with a group and that was the perfect addition. Johan took very good care of us along the way and even arranged for us to have a very nice lunch near a watering hole which was nice to lookout and see the animals. Whenever we go back we will definitely book another safari with Johan!

We had the pleasure of having Johan as our terrific guide for our day safari to Pilanesberg. Wow, we hit the jackpot of all guides! Johan was extremely knowledgeable of all the animals, plants and history, plus went out of his way to make sure you saw our bucket list animals, including the rarely spotted leopard. As first time visitors to South Africa, we are so grateful to Johan for his amazing hospitality and taking such incredible care of us. I cannot recommend Johan enough as a guide!

I had a wonderful and exciting day in Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Johan picked me up at the hotel by 4.00 am. Once we’ve reached the gate of the park the safari started. Johan knew exactly where to drive to see the animals.
We had a dramatic experience with a herd of elephants. Mammas, small ones and babies came close to the vehicle. It’s been extraordinary.
